  • Eat slower and stop when you feel satisfied - I know it was hard for me to slow down because I am always in a rush. But when I started eating slower and chewing my food more thoroughly, I found that I was eating less.

  • Don’t weight yourself everyday - Once a week is enough. Successful weight loss is more that just physical; it is a mental process also. If you weigh yourself everyday and don’t’ see results, you will become discouraged and give up.

  • Set realistic goals - Slow and steady wins the race. Make small goals on your way to bigger goals. In the ends, you’ll achieve more.

  • Identify your ideal weight - Don’t try to maintain a weight that isn’t right for you. Find out what your ideal weight and try to achieve that goal. Don’t lose too much weight or else you won’t feel good and healthy.

  • Start slow - Yes, you need to exercise, but no, you don’t have to overdo it. Your body needs time to adjust so start with 15 to 20 minutes of light workout.
